What we collect

When you set up a calendar, we collect your email address and ZIP code, plus the games, formats, event categories, and stores you choose to follow. Your ZIP code is converted to an approximate map location (a centroid) for distance calculations — we never ask for or store a precise street address.

We generate a random, unguessable token for your calendar feed URL. This token identifies your feed but is not tied to a password — there is no password on boosterboard. Signing back in to change your settings works by emailing you a one-time magic link.

If you call or text the boosterboard phone number, we receive your phone number and, for voicemails, an audio recording and an automated transcript, which are forwarded to our own inbox so we can follow up.

What we don't collect

We never see or store your payment card details. Payments and subscriptions are handled entirely by our payment processor — they process that data under their own privacy policy, not ours.

boosterboard does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics on its pages.

How we use it

• To build and keep your personalized calendar feed up to date.
• To send you a magic-link sign-in email when you ask for one.
• To respond if you contact us by phone, text, or email.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run boosterboard, each only for the specific job listed:

• Our payment processor — payment processing, if you choose to subscribe.
• Resend — delivering transactional emails (magic links, notifications).
• Zoho — hosts the inbox behind [email protected], where voicemail recordings, SMS, and call transcripts are forwarded.
• Twilio — handling calls and texts to our phone number.
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — converts your ZIP code into the approximate map location used for distance calculations.
• Cloudflare — content delivery and security in front of our servers, and encrypted storage for database backups.
• Hostinger — our server host.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your calendar is active. If you delete your account, we keep a copy for 30 days in case you change your mind — email [email protected] within that window and we can restore it exactly as it was. After 30 days it is permanently erased.

We also keep encrypted daily backups of our database, retained on a rolling 30-day basis for disaster recovery, independent of any individual account's status.

Children's privacy

boosterboard is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
